About the Role

As an Analog Design Engineer Intern at TSS, you will be working closely with our Analog design team in which you will learn different circuit topologies and both schematic and layout design techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Schematic and layout design of full-custom analog/mixed-signal sub-blocks

  • Layout DRC/LVS verification, EM verification

  • Layout extraction and post-layout simulation

  • Design flow scripts development

  • Design deliverables preparation and verification

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation

  • Participate in testchip and PHY bring-up, verification and lab evaluation

Requirements

  • Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field 

  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills  

  • Team player and willingness to learn 

  • Programming, HDL, and scripting languages (C/C++, Verilog, Perl, Python, Tcl, etc) is a plus 

  • Knowledge in IC layout design and high-speed memory (GDDR/LPDDR/HBM) interfaces is an asset
