This year's two-day CadenceLIVE Silicon Valley event was held in the Santa Clara Convention Center from April 19-20. This event brings together users, developers, and industry experts to connect, share ideas and inspire design creativity. The keynote sessions included big caliber presenters such as Cadence CEO, Anirudh Devgan, Marvell's COO, Chris Koopman, Google Cloud CEO, Thomas Kurian and Cadence SVP, Tom Beckley. This gave TSS some insights on where the industry is heading and what new CAD tools are on the horizon.
It was also an opportunity for TSS to catch up with our partners such as imec to see what they have to offer in the coming year.
Since last year, Cadence had shifted into high gear with McLaren Racing with its CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software. The great looking Formula 1 was in the center display along with two simulators that the attendees can try.
